Memorial service Groesbeek

On 5 May 1947 the Canadian military cemetery in Groesbeek was opened by the Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands, who reigned at the time. Many young Canadian soldiers in particular were buried here that have given their lives for the liberation of the Netherlands in the Second World War.

On the third day of the During the Four Days Marches the walk will lead along the Canadian military cemetery, and the military participants will then commemorate their colleagues from the Second World War during an impressive ceremonial gathering.
